INSTALLATION NOTES

Unzip to your Command & Conquer Generals Maps folder.
(My Documents\Command and Conquer Generals Data\Maps)
That will allow the folder structure of the map to remain intact, including its contents.  Winrar
users may end up with an extra and undesired subfolder (Nomads\Nomads).  If you do, then just
move the contents from the Nomads\"Nomads" folder into the top Nomads folder and delete that
extra subfolder.

DISTRIBUTION REQUEST

You are free to use this map and share it.  However, if you distribute it, please only give
out the original zip file, that contains the correct folder setup and all files.

COMMENTS ON THE MAP

* About
This is my first map.  Don't let that scare you away though, cause when I do something I try
to do it right.  The cliffs in this map are a throwback to Starcraft, and with them comes
all of the strategic possibilities that I grew to love from that game.  I haven't seen that
possibility being capitalized on in Generals maps, so that was a big part of my inspiration
to create a map.  Expect to see more of that in my future maps!  Also, another trademark
that I'll have with my maps will be attention to optimization (less needless eye-candy, no
3-way blends, lower file size.  My goal is to create very playable and fun maps that won't
lock your computer up if someone sends 50 tanks into your base.

* Layout
This is an 8 player map, as will all maps be that I create, due to the serious need for
8 player maps in the Generals Community.  It has a fairly symmetrical layout for fair 
play, snow terrain with lightly grassy areas, small town in the middle (few cars, 2 oil
derricks, 2 extra supply docks).  Throughout the map there are cliffs that allow you another
entry point into your opponents base, the ability to build structures on top of them, and
the opportunity to fight your opponent from an elevated terrain for added strategy.

* Resources
The map has adequate supplies for 8 players, 3 docks per zone, 2 extra docks in the middle,
and 2 oil derricks in the middle.

* AI
In Nomads, I added all necessary trigger areas, waypoints, etc to allow the computer AI to
function properly.  It's a pretty fun time with brutals.  :]  I also incorporated all of the
necessary items to allow for the use of the "Almost Human AI" Script by RVMECH (www.cncden.com).
If you'd like to use the AHAI script with this map, then you'd simply need to import the script
into the map and save it, preferably as a new name, like "Nomads-AHAI".  Just so you know, I
tried a version of the map with the AHAI script myself already and the AI was actually easier
than the normal AI.  It may be because of the map layout, who knows?

* Special Thanks
I'd like to thank RVMECH for all that he's doing to help build the Generals community.  My map-
making process would have been a lot harder without his tutorials, which had some sweet nuggets
of wisdom to help you save time and trouble.  I'm also using his intro script.  hehe
